The Hip Horse Acquires Bustin Stones Colt Privately before sale

The Hip Horse Stables is proud to announce the acquisition of an unnamed Bustin Stone's Colt that will be ready to go for his 2 year old career in 2018. We have looked all over the U.S. to find the right horse to add to The Hip Horse team, we have also put a lot of time in during this search to find this good looking colt. We are sure glad we waited until we found this yearling, this horse is built to run like his father, Bustin Stones, a New York bred who was 6 for 6 in his career, including the Carter Grade 1 earning just under $500k in his career before retiring with a foot injury. This sire produces 26% winners their first time out, which is a great number.

Bustin Stones- 2015 Debut Stats: 31-6-4-4 ( 19 percent win rate, $3.94 ROI)

Please take a look a this Bustin Stones’ Sire and the numbers that have been produced in 2017. Out of 65 starters; 40 were winners, top chief earner from Bustin Stones crop is Bustin In, whose earnings are just under 146k.

We are very excited and happy to announce that we will be bringing this Bustin Stones colt out West to Southern California. He hopes to be in training, and make his debut in 2018, in Sunny California. This is exciting news, because there aren’t any Bustin Stones’ currently on the West Coast. We think that this horse will do great, and we’re sure he will really enjoy the weather that California has to offer.

‘Bloodhorse’, is great website with great horse information about pedigree and stats to date, they are one of my favorite sites to check out. Below are our stats for Northeast Sires. Bustin Stones ranks number 6 on the list with fewer starts than some of the other horses that have made it on that list.
